Simpson Bay, Pelican Key

Simpson Bay is undoubtedly the island’s most popular residential, marine, and commercial center.
As well as  heart of entertainment: exclusive shops, casinos, restaurants and bars.
The hurricane impact is almost not visible on this part of the island.
All bars and restaurants are ready for customers and a lot of activity is happening here every day and evening.
All Simpson Bay casinos are opened again.

The hotels of Simpson Bay and Pelican Key are operating at almost full capacity.
Simpson Bay Resort and Marina was one of the first ones that has been reopened.
La Vista and Mary’s Boon hotel are up and running.

Flamingo Beach Resort and Royal Palm Beach Resort are currently under renovation.
Brand new, Las Vegas-based development team project, bar Roxxy, was built on Kim Sha beach.
It is a new kind of beach bar for St Maarten, a “sophisticated, chic destination”.
There are new investments happening right now in Simpson Bay infrastructure.
Prestigious apartment buildings, Simpson Bay Yacht Club, are currently being wired with fiber optic Internet.

Maho, Beacon Hill

The famous Maho Beach and Maho Village, the entertainment hub of the island with its active nightlife and renowned Maho Beach, has also made a remarkable comeback.
After so much work being done it looks like a totally brand new place!

The relaunch of the Sonesta Maho, Sonesta Ocean Point hotel and Casino Royale comes after a dramatic redesign and reconstruction that added the new and modern look to this part of the island.

Cupecoy, Mullet Bay

Mullet Bay and Cupecoy area has almost no visible scars left after the hurricane strike.
It is very active with construction and renovation work.

American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine is fully renovated and student housing  market is becoming very dynamic again.

Not to mention new investment  which started in Mullet Bay with very unique project of tallest construction on St Martin / St Maarten

Another new investment is under construction and soon to be opened.

A construction permit was just granted for the new 450-room resort on Great Bay Beach.

The Anse Marcel Beach Resort & Bar, a luxury resort beside the beach, is already reopened.

Oyster Pond

The Oyster Bay Beach Resort has completed its reconstruction.
The hotel is opened with new features and amenities.
Such as an infinity pool, newly equipped gym, restaurant and bar, lobby, courtyard.
